- On Mikanyama, overlooking the sea at Atami, there is a plum orchard with 23 large Nankou plum trees.
They only use Nanko-ume plums, which are grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides, and with the utmost care to maintain healthy soil. They are harvested green and individually soaked by hand in rock sugar and cane sugar.
We use only the syrup that comes from green plums and the flesh that has been thoroughly soaked in the syrup.
We created this jelly with the desire to allow you to enjoy the luxurious taste of plums as they are.
"Nanko Ume no Shizuku - Refreshing and Light" is pickled in rock sugar, allowing you to clearly enjoy the plum aroma and sourness.
"Nanko Ume no Shizuku - Rich and Thick" is pickled in brown sugar, which adds to its rich flavor, giving it a mellow taste "like a Japanese plum confection."
