These semi-dried sweet potatoes are made exclusively with Beni Haruka. Grown in the volcanic ash soil of Mount Fuji, which is ideal for growing sweet potatoes, the Beni Haruka are matured after harvesting to maximize their sweetness before being processed. Exposed to the cold, dry winds of Mount Fuji, known as "Fuji Oroshi," and plenty of sunlight, the dried sweet potatoes are slowly dried, resulting in a golden color and soft texture. With a deep sweetness and flavor and plenty of nutrients, these additive-free sweets are a delight for all generations.
