We are working to increase the added value of agricultural, forestry and fishery products produced in Shizuoka Prefecture by selecting new processed products that take advantage of the attractiveness of agricultural, forestry and fishery products produced in Shizuoka Prefecture, and linking them to new product development and product improvement by companies.

Examination criteria
"Fuji no Kuni New Product Selection" is a competition for processed products within 2 years of commercialization using agriculture, forestry and fishery products produced in Shizuoka Prefecture.
(If the product has been improved within 2 years, it will be listed).

Sales strategy | Is the target, sales channel, product development, content, price, etc. clear? |
Sales volume | Is the production volume required for sales inside and outside the prefecture secured? |
Local color | Is it a product with a rich local color that can effectively convey the charm of the prefecture's agricultural, forestry and fishery products that are characteristic of the region through the product? |
Design etc. | Is the material, design, etc. of the container / packaging a product that reflects the product concept, etc.? |
Safety and security initiatives | Whether the product has been approved for the safety certification / certification period, and whether the product has the manufacturing process and quality control properly implemented. |
Efforts to achieve the SDGs | Is it an initiative to achieve the SDGs, such as regional collaboration in the production and procurement of raw materials for products, the process of commercialization, the manufacture and sale of products, and product promotion? |
